SCHOLARSHIPS: JUSTINIAN SOCIETY

Dupage County Chapter of the Justinian Society of Lawyers

The Dupage County Chapter of the Justinian Society of Lawyers will once again award a scholarship to students of Italian extraction who have completed at least one semester of law school and are currently enrolled in law school.  Two scholarships are generally awarded ranging from $1000.00 to $5000.00.

The scholarships will be awarded in mid-May.

 

Requirements:

1.    Completed application

2.    A brief written statement indicating your professional objectives, the reasons why you feel you should be awarded this scholarship and any special factors that you would like the Committee to consider

3.    A letter of recommendation from a faculty member of the law school which can be sent directly to the Committee before the application deadline.

4.    A copy of the applicant’s Federal income tax return for the previous calendar year.

5.    Attendance at the Justinian Scholarship and Installation Dinner is mandatory to   receiving the scholarship. The dinner is usually held in Mid-May.

Notification:

The scholarship will be awarded in mid-May at the Society’s Annual Installation and Scholarship Dinner.
