Phi Alpha Delta Conference Held at The John Marshall Law School
2008-2009
Elizabeth Johnson, Marshall of Phi Alpha Delta, Lincoln Chapter received the Illinois Judicial Scholarship in Fall 2008. The scholarship is available to all law students in the State of IL and this year less than 20 students were awarded the scholarship. The factors for the award were grades, need, and community service.

Tabitha Sabatino, Vice Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, Lincoln Chapter received the DiGrazia Award. This award is given to three Phi Alpha Delta students each fall by the Western Alumni Chapter in recognition of their commitment to the Phi Alpha Delta mission.
The West Suburban Alumni Chapter has named its scholarship in honor of Anthony A. DiGrazia, an attorney who was first elected to the Supreme Board as supreme marshal. He continued to serve Phi Alpha Delta following elections at several subsequent conventions, serving as Supreme Treasurer from 1954 to 1956; Supreme Second Vice Justice from 1956 to 1958; Supreme Vice Justice from 1958 to 1960; and Supreme Justice from 1960 to 1962. In 1990, the Chicago Alumni Chapter recognized DiGrazia for his 50 years of contributions to the chapter by naming him honorary chairman of its executive board, a post he held until his death in 2000.
