Networking Opportunity
The Center for Disability and Elder Law will be hosting the 2010 Winter Awards Gala on Thursday, February 25, 2010. This year's Special Guest Speaker and Award Presenter is The Honorable, Justice Anne M. Burke.
The Gala is being held at Baker & McKenzie from 6 to 9 pm and CDEL is looking for 12 to 15 John Marshall student volunteers to assist with the following tasks on the night of the event:
* guest registration
* bartenders
* raffle ticket sales
* ushers
* set-up and clean-up.
The volunteers can expect to work approximately 1/3rd of the evening and can spend the rest of the time networking as well as enjoying complimentary drinks and food. Please be advised that the event is free to all JMLS volunteers and requires a 4 1/2 hour time commitment. Tickets are $50 for non-volunteers and this is an amazing networking opportunity. A tentative orientation meeting with all volunteers has been scheduled for February 18th at John Marshall.
