Welcome!
April 1, 2006
Dear Friends-
It is almost time for finals here at The John Marshall Law School, and JMLS students are busy reviewing for their examinations. The Canadian Law Society is accordingly wrapping up its activities for the 2005-06 academic year.
This year was an enormous success. We warmly welcomed new members, held two successful events, launched our website, and helped educate and inform our colleagues about the Canadian-American bilateral relationship.
We will be holding elections on April 20th for next year's CLS officers. The meeting will be open to all newcomers, and we warmly welcome any member of the JMLS community to attend.
We would like to warmly thank the JMLS faculty for their support, the Canadian Consulate for their encouragement, and especially we would like to extend our warm appreciate to the JMLS LLM program in International Trade for their co-sponsorship of our last event. We look forward to many more events co-sponsored with their program in the future. Also, we can not thank Professor Mark Wojcik enough for his help and support this semester. Thanks for a great year, and good luck with final exams!
Till September...
Warm Regards-

Matthew Apfel
