STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS: Animal Law Society

Togo at John Hancock

The Animal Law Society was founded in September 2003 to educate the JMLS community and increase public awareness in how the law pertains to animals in establishing and protecting animals' rights and welfare.

On March 26, 2004, the Animal Law Society became a student chapter of the Animal Legal Defense Fund, a national organization that aims to protect the lives and advance the interests of animals through the legal system.

Thank you for a wonderful year and good luck on exams!
