CENTER FOR ADVOCACY AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION: COMPETITIONS

ABA Regional Negotiation Competition

If you are interested in participating in this competition, please submit a resume and a cover letter setting out briefly anything in your educational or work background that you think would be helpful to you in participating in this competition. (Examples might include negotiation in business, training in problem-solving activities, etc.) Please also list one or two JMLS professors who are familiar with your law school experience. Submit the resume and letter to Prof. Kenneth Kandaras (phone: 312-987-1421, e-mail: 7kandara@jmls.edu, fax: 312-427-9974). Tryouts for this competition are held annually in the early fall.

Congratulations to ABA National Negotiation Team members
Daniel Padernacht and Curtis Vosti who competed at the
International Negotiation Competition in Singapore during the summer of 2007
and placed 6th out of 16 international teams!

The Negotiation Team also finished 2nd in the nation
at the 2007 Miami National Competition!
