The Pepperdine National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition takes place in October at Pepperdine University School of Law. Each team has the opportunity to argue novel entertainment law issues before some of the best entertainment lawyers in Los Angeles.  The competition's website is http://law.pepperdine.edu/organizations/moot_court/entertainmentlaw2008/.

In 2007 Bradley Bertkau, Christi Dineff, Sandra Esposito, and John Kozar advanced to Quarterfinals.  In 2005 Jeffrey Bora won Fifth Best Oralist.
