Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition

The 2009 Hispanic National Bar Association competition was held in Coral Gables, Florida.  The competition coincides with the HNBA's mid-year conference.  The competition problems involve constitutional issues.

In 2008, Anselmo Duran and Abraham Sandoval were National Champions and won Best Respondent's Brief, Abraham Sandoval also won Fifth Best Oralist.  Also in 2008, Marcos Esparza and Justin Garcia advanced to Quarterfinals, and Justin Garcia won Second Best Oralist.  In 2007 Anselmo Duran and Abraham Sandoval placed Second Place and Best Respondent's Brief.  In 2006 Karisa Flores and Karl Tetzlaff advanced to Quarterfinals.
