Hellenic Bar Foundation

The Hellenic Bar Association of Illinois (HBA) is an organization of Illinois attorneys of Hellenic descent committed to furthering the legal profession through scholarship, continuing legal education, philanthropy and community services. Consistent with this mission, HBA awards annual scholarships to law students of Hellenic descent based upon academic performance and demonstrable financial need.

 

Selection Criteria

  1. All second and third year law students of Hellenic descent are encouraged to apply
  2. Must be enrolled in an accredited Illinois law school or an Illinois resident attending an accredited law school outside of the State of Illinois are eligible.
  3. The committee will consider both financial need and community service

Requirements

1.      Submit a completed Scholarship Application

2.      Submit a current resume.
