Online Payment Instructions

Credit Card Payment:

  • Sign onto LegalEase
  • Select Student Tab
  • Select Student Accounts Tab(located on the left)
  • Select My Account Balances - your balance will appear
  • Select the Credit Card option and do the following:
    • Select Student Account Balance
    • Enter the amount you are paying.  Select Add to basket option.
    • 1st checkout screen appears.  **NOTICE** The 2.9% non-refundable service charge is added to the amount you are paying.  Select Checkout.
    • 2nd checkout screen appears.  After checking the box that states you have read, agree and accept the terms, click Continue Checkout.
    • Fill in the credit card information screen.  When finished, click Continue Checkout.
    • Review screen now appears.  Review the data to make sure all is correct.  Click Submit Payment.
    • If your payment is declined, return to the credit card information screen and enter another credit card information and continue with the process.  If your payment is successful, the Successful Payment Transaction Approved screen appears. You will receive a receipt via email.   

E-Check Payment:

  • Sign onto LegalEase.
  • Select Student Tab.
  • Select Student Accounts Tab(located on the left).
  • Select My Account Balances - your balance will appear.
  • Select the E-Check option and do the following:
    • Select Student Account Balance.
    • Enter the amount you are paying.  Select Add to basket option.
    • 1st checkout screen appears.  Select Checkout.
    • Fill in the parameters on this screen. When finished, click Continue Checkout.


NOTE: 

You must ensure that your payment details are correct and that you have sufficient funds in your bank account to cover the payment. 

The account number and account balance are not verified at the time of payment.  A returned check will result in processing charges and will be assessed to your student account balance. 


  • Review screen now appears.  Review the data to make sure all is correct.  Click Submit payment.
  • Your transaction is complete when the Successful Payment Transaction Approved screen appears.  You will receive a receipt via email.
