Phones and Mobile Devices

The John Marshall Law School’s ITS department provides faculty and staff support for phones, mobile phones, and Personal Data Assistants (PDA). The ITS department will try to provide support for many different hardware and software vendors as possible.

Office Phones

When you first join the JMLS staff, and are assigned an office or desk, we provide a telephone with a direct extension to ensure connectivity. The John Marshall Law School implements a very feature rich telephone system. To ensure optimum productivity we recommend all faculty and staff members to become very familiar with the voicemail and telephone system. You will be able to utilize many features, such as:

• Forwarding messages
• Returning calls directly without dialing
• Off-site message retrieval
• Forward and rewind options

We offer all faculty and staff tele-conferencing abilities via speakerphones. We suggest you schedule conference calls with the Help Desk so that they can setup and configure the conference phones on a timely basis.

Mobile Device Support

As a convenience, ITS tries to provide users mobile email services through a GoodLink server located on the The John Marshall Law School network. It should be noted that users may not use the JMLS network to illegally share copyrighted material over email.
