Email Clients and Usage

The John Marshall Law School provides various ways to access your e-mail. Whether you’re on the campus or at home you will have e-mail access via Microsoft Outlook or by using the Outlook Web Access feature through your web browser.

Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft Outlook email client offers numerous advanced features to help you organize your schedule, e-mails, tasks, contacts, and notes.

To start using Microsoft Outlook you will need to setup your mailbox using your email address and password credentials you were provided. In order to assist you in staying organized we recommend the following:

*The John Marshall Law School has drafted an email retention policy that would automatically delete mail older than 365 days to date, in the Deleted/Sent items folders.

Outlook Web Access

If you’re traveling or don’t have access to your personal computer, you can still access your email via any web browser (www.jmls.edu/main_owa.html).

With Outlook Web Access you have the ability to use all the features you are accustomed to using on the Outlook email client. Whether you are creating distribution lists, scheduling meetings, or just checking your email, Outlook Web Access has all the features you would need while away from your personal computer.
