Hello and Welcome to The John Marshall Law School

We hope that this site will allow you to find more information and tips to help you maximize your use of the computer labs and your laptops while at The John Marshall Law School. We also welcome your comments and suggestions and recommend that you ask our Help Desk questions via email in order to expedite a solution to your problems.

The John Marshall Law School computer network has 85 computers located in three labs located within the library. The PCs have internet access, word processing and access to your JMLS email account.

One of the most exciting aspects of technology at JMLS is the wireless network. The wireless network will allow you to use a laptop to access the internet anywhere within the confines of JMLS. Last semester close 60% of the students were using the wireless network. John Marshall was the first law school in the Chicago area to adopt wireless technology and continues to lead the way. As wireless technology continues to evolve, the wireless network at John Marshall will evolve as well.

If you find that you have run into a problem, stop by the Help Desk located on the 6th floor. The Help Desk has extended hours, so we can accommodate night students as well as our full time, day students. The majority of problems that you will encounter can quickly be fixed by contacting the Help Desk.
