Software

The following Macintosh based operating systems are supported:

  • Mac OS X Leopard (10.5)

We recommend the following software loaded on your Mac laptop:

  • Microsoft Office for Mac 2004/2008*
    • Word
    • PowerPoint
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0/Preview 4.1
  • Safari 3.1/Opera 9.5/Firefox 2.0

*If you are using Office 2008 please remember to save all documents as Office 1997-2004 docs. Or you can change the default file save format:

To solve the compatibility issues between the different formats:

1. Double-click Microsoft Office Word 2008, Click the Word icon on the upper left corner, click preferences option.

2. In the preference pane box, select the save icon located in the Output and Sharing subsection.

3. Go to the "Save Word file as" drop down menu and select Word 97-2004 Document.

4. Click OK to save the new settings.

You will have to repeat these steps for all Office 2008 applications.
