Hodge Joins Lawyering Skills StaffJoanne Simboli Hodge has joined the Lawyering Skills faculty as a visiting assistant professor for the 2004-2005 academic year. Hodge received a B.A. from Swarthmore College and a J.D. from Northwestern University. She began her legal career as a law clerk for Judge Luther Swygert at the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, and was an assistant corporation counsel for the City of Chicago in its Law Department from 1986 to1998. She served as an administrative law judge for the Illinois Human Rights Commission from 1998-1999, and was an associate at Neal, Murdock & LeRoy from 2000 to 2003, before joining the DePaul faculty. His essay, "What Keeps Me Going Abroad," appears in the June 2004 issue of "The Second Draft," the Bulletin of the Legal Writing Institute.
