Kramer," on February 18; "Nuts," on March 17; and "M," on April 15. These programs run from 4 to 6 p.m. at the law school, 315 S. Plymouth Ct. and are open to the public. The movies will be shown free of charge and refreshments will be served. As part of its centennial celebration, The John Marshall Law School is hosting a discussion series examining law and lawyers in the movies. The comedy, "My Cousin Vinnie," will open the program on September 10. Other movies analyzed during the fall semester will include: "Breaker Morant," on October 1; "Compulsion," on October 21; "Reversal of Fortune," on November 19. |
Medal of Excellence Recipient is John Marshall Student
Caren Altman Lederer (left), a January graduate, receives the "Medal of Excellence" award from Adjunct Professor Kathleen Steege (right) on behalf of the American Bankruptcy Institute. Lederer was one of 65 students nationally to receive the award for her outstanding work in the debtor/creditor relations class at John Marshall. John Marshall PublicationsThe Illinois State Bar Association will reprint the article, "A Cry for Help," which appeared in the Summer 1998 issue of John Marshall Comment. It profiles John Marshall alumnus Warren Lupel, J.D. '68, recalling the trials and triumphs he experienced as a volunteer with the agency Cross-Cultural Solutions in a Delhi, India slum.
