John Marshall Welcomes Italian Professor The John Marshall Law School welcomed Professor Federico Mioni (second from left) of the University of Macerata, Italy, as a visiting scholar. During his visit at the law school, Mioni, a Thomas Jefferson scholar, was joined by John Marshall Professors (from left) Michael Polelle, R. Ben Brown and Samuel Olken in a lecture/discussion on "Thomas Jefferson: A View from Both Sides of the Atlantic."Debt Management Counseling for Graduating StudentsAll students graduating in June who have borrowed under federal student loan programs at JMLS must attend an exit interview session. During this session you will learn important information about your repayment options. On April 13 at noon in room 3E, the annual Spring Fling celebration will feature a great lunch, music, and awards. Student Bar AssociationAttention Student LeadersThe SBA will be holding elections for the SBA executive board in April. Any student that is interested in running for office must submit a petition for candidacy. The petitions will be distributed from the SBA office starting March 25th. The petitions must be returned to the SBA office and signed by an SBA executive board member by 5:00 p.m. on April 8th. In addition to the candidacy petition, each candidate must give a speech at the Spring Fling April 13th. Elections will be held on April 15. Good luck to all interested candidates. Celebrate SpringOn Monday, April 13 take a break and have some fun. The annual Spring Fling is here again so stop by 3E for a free lunch and listen to the JMLS Vocal Ensemble. Student Organization merit awards will also be distributed. Softball Anyone?Keep your calendars open April 18th. The SBA will be hosting a softball tournament at North Avenue Beach.
