Leslie Ann Reis

Director, Center for Information Technology and Privacy Law

She was a guest presenter at the plenary session on "Ethics and Intelligence Gathering" for the Regional Community Policing Institute Directors Meeting in Chicago on May 23, 2006. She outlined not only the ethical issues and the legal ramifications of information gathering, but also how it impacts on privacy, civil liberties and information quality. The program was open to law enforcement and government employees and academics in criminal justice.
