The Canada-United States Law Institute administers the Niagara International Moot Court Competition, an international law moot court competition that draws fifteen to thirty teams from law schools in Canada and the United States. Participating teams address a hypothetical dispute affecting the bi-lateral relationship between Canada and the United States before the International Court of Justice. This year the competition was held in Toronto, Canada.

In 2008, Tahani Afaneh, Aman Ansari, Karolina Guzek, and Mark Segrist advanced to Semifinals. Aman Ansari and Mark Segrist won Best Respondent's Memorial, and Tahani Afaneh won Fifth Place Advocate. In 2006, Robert Gates won Second Best Oralist.
