The Chicago Area Fair Housing Alliance (CAFHA) is seeking candidates for the John Lukehart Public Policy Fellow.

CAFHA 501(c)(3)is a non-profit organization that serves as a consortium of fair housing and housing advocacy organizations, government agencies, and municipalities committed to the value of fair housing, diversity, and integration. CAFHA works to combat housing discrimination and promote integrated communities of opportunity through research, education, and advocacy.

The Lukehart Fellow is a full-time position and will be responsible for advocacy and analysis of fair housing policy, especially regarding local and state government programs and policies. The Lukehart Fellow will report to the President of CAFHA and receive support and guidance from the CAFHA Board of Directors and the CAFHA Coordinator. The Lukehart Fellow will be work from the offices of the Lawyers' Committee for Better Housing during the first two months and the office may move to another CAFHA member agency thereafter.
