The Skype Assignment Spring Semester 2008
In the Spring Semester of 2008, the Public Health Emergency Law: Domestic and International seminar was offered at the John Marshall Law School (JMLS) in Chicago and, in an intense, condensed version, at the Masaryk University Faculty of Law (MUFL) in Brno, Czech Republic. The seminar is taught by Judith W. Munson, Adjunct Professor at JMLS and Visiting Lecturer at MUFL. The students in the JMLS class are paired with students in the MUFL class in order to engage in this transatlantic assignment which is facilitated by use of the SKYPE technology (www.SKYPE.com). The class in Brno is taught during the week when the JMLS is on Spring Break.
