Legal Education Access Program: Summer 2009

August 2 to 7, 2009

LEAP is a program for college juniors and seniors interested in pursuing a legal career. This program will support diversity in the legal profession by inspiring students from groups historically under-represented in the law to become lawyers.

Buckingham FountainThe program will bring together students from diverse backgrounds and provide them with the training necessary to successfully prepare and navigate the road to law school. The program will also introduce students to the law school application process and extinguish any apprehensions about applying and gaining admission.

This program will help students prepare for mastering the LSAT, give an overview of first year law classes, and provide techniques for success as a law student. The program also includes legal field trips to Chicago area law firms and the court systems to provide students a perspective on how The John Marshall Law School operates and thrives in one of the nation's largest legal markets.

In addition to top-notch instruction and exposure to the legal field, Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions will provide every LEAP participant with a free Kaplan LSAT Classroom Course (worth $1,299).Cellular Field
