Scott Shepard came to John Marshall from a visiting professorship at Wake Forest University School of Law. He was previously an Olin/Searle Fellow at Vanderbilt University Law School. Prior to his academic endeavors, he was a managing attorney with the Pacific Legal Foundation in Sacramento, California, and an associate at two Washington, DC, firms. Professor Shepard researches in the area of property law, with a particular interest in natural resources. At John Marshall, he teaches natural resources, property, trusts & estates, and sales.
