Students working public interest jobs during the summer will often have to find funding sources as most positions are unpaid. John Marshall does have a federal work study program which allows students to be paid an hourly wage for working such positions. For more information please come to the Career Services Office. Also, each year two student groups, the Student Bar Association (SBA) and the Public Interest Law Council (PILC), awards summer fellowships for students working in the public interest.
