Laurel Hajek is the Assistant Dean for Career Services and oversees the Career Services Office. Before coming to John Marshall, Dean Hajek served as the Assistant Dean of Career Services at the University of Dayton School of Law. She also was a manager with Ernst & Young LLP and an associate with a Florida litigation firm. She has held council and committee posts with the National Association for Law Placement and was president of the Ohio Law Placement Consortium. Dean Hajek is licensed in Florida and Ohio and is active in many local bar associations including the Chicago Bar Association, North Suburban Bar Association, Bohemian Lawyers Association, and the Advocates Society. In her free time, Dean Hajek is completing coursework at John Marshall toward her LLM in Employee Benefits.

| Stacia coordinates and oversees most of the programming, including the Alumni Mentor Program, mock interviews and employer receptions. She is also available for student and alumni counseling. Stacia has a master's degree in College Student Personnel & Counseling from Loyola University Chicago and a bachelor of arts in Secondary Education and English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before joining the Career Services team in 1999, Stacia counseled journalism students and alumni at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University for five years. |

| Cheryl counsels students and alumni on career planning, job search strategies and interviewing skills. She also oversees the on-campus recruitment process and conducts private sector employer outreach. Prior to joining the Career Services Office, Cheryl was a Senior Career Advisor at Shannon and Manch LLP, where she counseled attorneys in the areas of career transition, training and development. Cheryl also worked at Bingham McCutchen LLP in Washington, D.C. where she helped design and implement all aspects of the firm’s attorney professional development programs and policies, including in-house career counseling and coaching, career planning, and professional development. Cheryl began her legal career at Skadden Arps as an associate in the Telecommunications and Media group, and holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and a B.A. from Howard University. |

Sahar counsels both day and evening students and alumni on career planning, job search strategies, and interviewing skills. She also oversees the Career Service Office’s programming and serves as the student organization liaison. Prior to joining the Career Services Office, Sahar practiced corporate law at Schiff Hardin LLP for over four years, where she also managed a pro bono family law program through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) and Apna Ghar, a local domestic violence agency. Sahar expanded this program to a city-wide CVLS clinic in 2010 and serves as its director. Sahar received her B.A. in Economics, International Studies, and Psychology from Case Western Reserve University, where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa and her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she also completed a business certificate from The Wharton School.

Tiffany counsels day and evening students and alumni on career planning, job search strategies and interviewing skills. Tiffany is the primary contact for students who are interested in post-graduate judicial clerkships at both the state and federal level. Tiffany has worked at the Center for Disability and Elder Law as a Staff Attorney and Pro Bono Coordinator and at Access Living of Metropolitan Chicago as a Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) Intern. Prior to coming to the Career Services Office, Tiffany worked as a solo practitioner and career coach. As a career coach, Tiffany authored a blog for attorneys in transition through the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and founded a networking group for Chicago area job seeking attorneys. Tiffany is a member of the Illinois Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Tiffany graduated with a B.A. in Journalism from Indiana University-Bloomington and a J.D from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.

| Kim counsels students and alumni on career planning, job search strategies and interviewing skills. Kim is the primary contact for students who are interested in public interest careers. Kim also coordinates the federal work study program through which funding is made available to students who are working for government agencies and public interest organizations. She graduated summa cum laude with a BBA in Finance and a BS in Political Science from Loyola University New Orleans and magna cum laude from The John Marshall Law School. |

Prior to joining the Career Services Office, Chanté practiced law as a Senior Attorney at Chico & Nunes, P.C.. Chanté also worked as an Associate at Goldberg Kohn Bell Black Rosenbloom & Mortiz, Ltd and at Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP (now Sidley Austin LLP). Chanté received her JD from New York University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University. |

| Sue has been with the Career Services Office for 25 years and is happy to answer your career services questions. She coordinates our on-campus interview program and manages the office. Sue works on a variety of projects, including the Alumni Mentor Program, reciprocity, job bulletins and overseeing all CSO student assistants. She also develops student and employer databases and is always available to introduce office facilities to prospective students, current students and alumni. |

| Dennis serves as the CSO Coordinator. Before arriving at The John Marshall Law School, Dennis worked as an Administrative Assistant for a non-profit organization in the suburbs of Chicago where he coordinated conferences and programs and developed materials for adult education. Previously, Dennis had worked as an Information Specialist and Temporary Director of a small educational library. Dennis plays an important role in the Career Services Office, serving as the point of contact for scheduling appointments, handling student, alumni and employer inquiries, posting job opportunities and providing customer service to students and alumni within Symplicity. |
