Career Fairs
Public Interest Career Conferences
Each year a number of organizations host career fairs concerning public interest practice areas or diversity. Many students find jobs through these fairs. Below is a brief list of some of these career conferences. For a complete list please check PSLawNet. Please note that some of these fairs are only open to students from sponsoring law schools.
National Black Prosecutors Association 24th Annual Conference
Date: Tuesday – July 17, 2007 Location: Bellevue Hilton Hotel, Seattle, Washington Deadlines/Fees: Early registration is $50/students/07 graduates and $75/ laterals. After June 1st, registration is $100/students/07graduates and $150/aterals. Materials: Stop by the CSO to pick up the registration form. Information also available at www.blackprosecutors.org Submit the form, resume and a check for $50 directly to NBPA.

IMPACT Career Fair for Law Students and Graduates with Disabilities

Lavender Law Group

Equal Justice Works Career Fair
Date: Saturday & Sunday October 6 & 7, 2007 Location: Omni Shoreham Hotel – Washington, D.C. Deadlines/Fees: Register directly through the EJW website: www.equaljusticeworks.org/careerfair/students/career.php by TBA Eligibility: Recommended for 2L & 3L students interested in public interest law
Description: Largest public interest-related job fair in the country, bringing together 200+ employers.
Midwest Public Interest Law Conference
