  • If this is your first time visiting The John Marshall Law School and the city of Chicago, your best option probably is to choose a hotel close to the school. The school is located in the heart of downtown, so many tourist attractions also are nearby. If you have a little extra time on your visit, literally around the corner from John Marshall is the hustle and bustle of State street shopping and restaurants. A five minute walk east brings you to Chicago’s famous Michigan avenue, with Grant Park, museums and the lakefront just beyond; or to the city’s theater district.
