Center for Tax Law and Employee Benefits Academic Fellows
Each semester, Center adjunct faculty members select degree candidates to serve as teaching assistants or research assistants, most often on an ad hoc basis.
Selection Criteria
- Proven academic performance in tax law or employee benefits
- A short essay detailing your qualifications, along with bullets enumerating your expertise, research and interests, and the graduate classes in which you have received an A- or better
- Signed letter of commitment to 5-10 hours of service per week, if needed (students can only bill 100 hours a semester)
Benefits of Being a Fellow
- Remuneration at the prevailing research assistant pay rate ($10 per hour)
- Networking with various adjunct faculty members on a variety of projects
- Resume experience
