Profit Sharing/401(k) Council of America Externship

Eligible Candidates: JD/LLM in Employee Benefits, LLM in Employee Benefits, and JD/LLM in Tax Law and LLM in Tax Law with a concentration on employee benefits
Deadline: Four weeks before the beginning of the semester

Degree candidates selected to participate in this program work with the attorneys at the Profit Sharing/401(k) Council of America (PSCA). The PSCA is a national, non-for-profit association that offers assistance to its members regarding the administration, investment, compliance, and communication of profit sharing and 401(k) plans. The educational objectives of this externship include practical experience in profit sharing and 401(k) plans; development of research, writing, and drafting skills; and preparation of memoranda and communication pieces to assist PSCA members.

Candidates with a quantitative undergraduate degree (e.g., accounting, math, finance) are preferred.
