Sunguard/Relius Advanced Pension Conference

Co-sponsored by JMLS Center for Tax Law and Employee Benefits

The conference provides important updates on current legislative action and developments from the IRS, the DOL, and Capitol Hill. Speakers will address a variety of subjects focusing on: new plan design techniques, industry trends, compliance issues and will feature its popular "Ask the Experts" Workshop.

Three John Marshall graduate students are selected to attend for free, and to exhibit as a representative of the Center.  Recipients for 2007 have already been selected.

18th Annual National Institute on ERISA Litigation

Sponsored by the American Bar Association Joint Committee on Employee Benefits 

November 6 & 7 at the Conrad Chicago (521 North Rush Street)

A 2-day program where ERISA litigation experts discuss their successful methods and strategies, including stories from behind the scenes, from both points of view and pick up the finer points to consider when involved in ERISA litigation cases.

ASPPA / IRS Great Lakes Conference

Co-sponsored by JMLS Center for Tax Law and Employee Benefits

April 3-4 at The Westin Michigan Avenue Hotel (909 North Michigan Avenue) 

This regional conference offers a high level of education, knowledgeable speakers, and the latest information on pension issues. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet and discuss employee benefits issues with colleagues and top IRS and DOL government agency representatives.  Most sessions are co-presented by a private practitioner and an IRS, DOL or PBGC representative.
