About the Degree Programs
The Center for Real Estate Law's primary mission is to educate the next generation of commercial real estate attorneys and real estate professionals in all aspects of the law affecting the industry from a transactional perspective. The Center for Real Estate Law offers three degree programs: the LLM (Master of Laws) Program for Lawyers, the Joint JD/LLM Program only for John Marshall JD students and the Master of Science (MS) Program for Non-Attorney Real Estate Professionals.
The LLM courses and the MS courses offered by the Center for Real Estate Law, developed with input from an advisory board of practicing attorneys and respected professionals in the industry, cover all substantive areas of commercial real estate law and integrate skills training. Thus, both programs enable students to gain an in-depth understanding of commercial real estate law and practice.
