THE JOINT JD\LL.M PROGRAM

The Joint Program enables students to count up to 10 hours

of LL.M Level Real Estate Law courses toward their JD degree.

 Students may apply to the Joint Program after completing 30 hours.

LL.M Level Real Estate Law Courses

Each semester JD students who have taken the prerequisite courses may, with the Director’s approval, take LL.M Level Courses.  Real Estate Transactions and Federal Income Tax are generally the prerequisites for taking LL.M. Level Courses.

Career Services Programs

These programs enable students to hear presentations from Alumni and hiring professionals and the learn more about careers in the real estate industry.

The Real Estate Law Student Chapter of Lambda Alpha International

John Marshall is the only law school with a student chapter.

The Chapter presents programs which help students learn about the business context in which real estate transactions arise.  Members are invited to attend meetings of Chicago’s Ely Chapter of Lambda Alpha International. 

SITE VISIT PROGRAM

The Program enables students to tour projects, to hear presentations

about the project and to learn more about the business side of real estate.

THE EISENBERG FOUNDATION MENTOR PROGRAM

JD students may explore various aspects of the real estate industry through participation in the Mentor Program.  Information about the Program is available at www.eisenbergfoundation.org. Students make arrangements to participate directly with Al Klairmont, Chairman of the Eisenberg Mentoring Program.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY STUDENT CHAPTER
