Lawyering Skills Program

John Marshall's Lawyering Skills Program is designed to immerse students in the art of legal writing and research. The program is ranked among the top programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. It spans four semesters and is one of the most rigorous research/writing programs nationwide. The core program is staffed by tenured, tenure-track, or long-term faculty who are dedicated to helping students prepare for their future careers and achieve excellence in legal writing. Upper-level courses are taught either by full-time faculty or adjuncts who have experience in the field and who offer students the benefit of a practitioner's perspective.
