Prosecution Clinic (1–4)

This program is designed for students who are seriously considering a career as a prosecuting attorney. Under direct supervision of attorneys in the criminal courtrooms, these students are allowed to participate in the investigation, preparation, motion practice, and trial of misdemeanor and felony cases. Several states attorney's offices participate in this program, including Cook County and the surrounding Illinois counties of DuPage, McHenry, Lake, Will, and Kane; Porter County in Indiana; and Kenosha County in Wisconsin. The classroom component of the course is taught by an experienced prosecuting attorney from the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.

For  more information or to register for this program, visit the Center for Advocacy and Dispute Resolution's externship page.
