Each year, one or more faculty members offer JMLS students the opportunity to take a course that includes an international component. In recent years, J.D. and LL.M. students have studied:

- Mergers and Acquisitions from an EU perspective in Rome, Italy
- Transnational Legal Practice Issues in Barcelona, Spain
- Intellectual Property and Human Rights in Law in Lima, Peru
- Current Legal Issues: The Transformation of European Law and the Impact of the European Union in Prague, Czech Republic
