International Programs and Activities
The Center for International Business and Trade Law works to maintain a range of international contacts at the local, national and international levels. Among the many organizations and institutions the Center cooperates with in the Chicago Metropolitan area are The International Trade Club of Chicago, the International Visitors Center of Chicago, the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations, and the Chicago International Dispute Resolution Association. Many of the Center's full-time faculty and adjunct professors are active in the American Bar Association, the International Bar Association, and the International Law Society.
The John Marshall Law School has developed relationships with Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia; the Center for International Legal Studies in Salzburg, Austria; the Law Faculty of the University of Cagliari in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy; The College of Foreign Economical Relations and Trade of Zheijiang University in Hangzhou, China; the University of Vilnius in Vilnius, Lithuania; the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno, the Czech Republic; the Chinese State Intellectual Property Office in Beijing, China; The Central Police University in Taoyuan, Taiwan; the East China College of Politics and the Law in Shanghai, China;Trinity College School of Law in Dublin, Ireland; and The University of Lucerne in Lucerne, Switzerland.
