The John Marshall Law School-University of Lucerne Exchange Program
On behalf of The John Marshall Law School, the Center for International Law initiated discussions with the Law Faculty of the University of Lucerne in 2005. The discussions arose out of the sister city relationship between Chicago and Lucerne that originated in 1998. In 2006, John Marshall and the University of Lucerne signed an exchange agreement to promote the exchange of students and faculty.
 In the spring of 2007, Dr. Daniel Girsberger of the University of Lucerne visited John Marshall to teach a course on International Commercial Arbitration.

John Marshall welcomed 10 students from Lucerne during since fall of 2007 and sent six students to the University of Lucerne since the spring of 2008.
This program is restricted to current students at John Marshall and the University of Lucerne.
