For more than 100 years,
The John Marshall Law School has
been a pioneer in legal education. Throughout its history, The
John Marshall Law School has upheld a tradition of diversity,
innovation and opportunity, and has consistently provided an
education that combines an understanding of the theory, the
philosophy and the practice of law. Founded in 1899, The John
Marshall Law School today is proud to be recognized as a dynamic
independent law school, promoting excellence in all aspects of
legal education.
The John Marshall Law School is closely connected to Chicago's
legal community; located just blocks away from the Daley Center,
the headquarters of the Cook County Circuit courts, and directly
across the street from the Dirksen Federal Building, home of the
Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. The John Marshall Law School
avails itself of this prime urban location by drawing on
distinguished state and federal jurists and respected,
experienced practitioners to serve as adjunct faculty members in
its trial advocacy program and as guest speakers at many special
events hosted by the law school.
Weather: July is a very popular travel month in Chicago.
The
Taste of Chicago is the premier event, attracting over a million
visitors, especially for the July 3rd Fireworks and Concert in
Grant Park.
