Programs: Insights

Insights provides 1Ls with a common understanding of what is expected of them as law students and to provide training in the skills they need to excel in their first year. The program is designed to provide first year students with instruction on developing strong study skills, including time management, note taking, case briefing, outlining, and exam writing techniques. This program is FREE!

Insights I - Insights I is for first year students in their first semester. It uses Contracts I and Torts as a background for assisting students with the aforementioned law school skills. Students will be provided opportunities to practice writing answers to law school essay examination questions and taking multiple choice exams. The essay answer-writing component of the Insights Program will include feedback on practice examination answers.

Insights II - Insights II is a continuation of Insights I and is for first year students in their second semester of law school. This course uses Federal Civil Procedure as a background to assist students with techniques for taking all types of exams.
